David McDonald

David McDonald is an accomplished technology executive with a robust background in engineering and management. As CEO of danalto Ltd since June 2017 and formerly CEO of Aperilink Ltd, David has demonstrated leadership in driving business growth. Prior roles at Intune Networks from October 2000 to August 2014 include VP Engineering - Hardware & Photonics, VP Product Development, and General Manager, showcasing a diverse skill set in product and engineering management. Early career experience includes senior research positions at Enterprise Ireland/Optronics and design engineering at Lightband Communications. David holds a Doctorate in High Speed Optical Communications and a Master’s degree in Technology Management from University College Dublin, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution.
