Daniel Pandapotan has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting industry. Daniel began their career at EY as an Associates Auditor Grade 2 from November 2013 to August 2015. Daniel then joined KPMG Indonesia as an Associates Auditor Grade 2 from September 2015 to December 2015. Daniel worked as a Senior Auditor at RSM INDONESIA from September 2016 to May 2017. Daniel was also an Accounting Consultant at SCS Global Group from March 2016 to July 2016. After that, they joined PT Perusahaan Pengelola Aset (Persero) as an Investment Manager from December 2017 to January 2022. Currently, Daniel holds the position of Assistant Vice President Portfolio Management at Danareksa starting from December 2021.

Daniel Pandapotan completed their education in a sequential manner, starting with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universitas Airlangga, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. Daniel then pursued a short-term program called the Accounting Professional Program at the University of Indonesia in 2014. Afterwards, Daniel went on to earn a Master's degree in the Master of Accounting Program from the University of Indonesia, completing the program from 2015 to 2017.

Daniel continued to expand their expertise by acquiring various certifications. In 2015, they obtained the Certified Professional Management Accountant certification from the Institut Akuntan Manajemen Indonesia. Later that year, they also achieved the Certified Pernyataan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan certification from the Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia, and the Register Negara Akuntan certification from the Pusat Pembinaan Profesi Keuangan.

In 2016, Daniel obtained the Chartered Accountant certification from the Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia. Lastly, in August 2017, they received the Certified Public Accountant certification from the Institut Akuntan Publik Indonesia.

To further solidify their knowledge and expertise in the field, Daniel is presently pursuing a PhD in Finance and Financial Management Services at the University of Brawijaya, a program that is expected to be completed in 2025.
