Dr Tracy Roake

Dr. Tracy Roake is the Head of Education and Student Affairs at Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children since August 2018 and serves as Adjunct Faculty at Fatima College of Health Sciences since September 2020. With extensive experience in midwifery, Dr. Roake was previously a Clinical Resource Midwife at Corniche Hospital from November 2005 to October 2017 and owned The Birth Centre from January 1995 to October 2005, where pioneering efforts in water births and private hospital births were notable. Dr. Roake has a rich educational background, including a Postgraduate Certificate in Training to Teach Medicine from Harvard Medical School, Advanced Midwifery and Neonatal Nursing Science from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and ongoing fellowships and degrees in nursing, business administration, and healthcare management from various institutions. Currently pursuing a PhD in Healthcare Administration, Dr. Roake is well-equipped in both practical and academic aspects of healthcare and education.
