Janice Stauffer has extensive experience in the nursing field, currently serving as an Intensive Care Nurse at Danbury Hospital since September 2001. In addition to clinical practice, Janice has held leadership roles, including President of the Danbury Nurses Union since January 2017 and Vice President of the Executive Committee for AFT since May 2018. Prior to their tenure at Danbury Hospital, Janice worked as an Ortho Trauma and Telemetry Nurse at Greenwich Hospital from June 1990 to September 2001. Janice holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Registered Nursing from Western Connecticut State University, completed between 1986 and 1990.
