Joanna Harp

Joanna Harp has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Joanna currently holds the position of President at Dance Media Publications since July 2022. Prior to that, they served as Publisher for the same company from December 2018 to July 2022.

Joanna was a Founding Member at Chief, a private network focused on empowering women leaders, from May 2020 to August 2021.

Joanna also worked at Econsultancy as the Head of Sales (US) from April 2018 to December 2018, where they co-led the US office and was responsible for corporate digital training sales.

Before that, Joanna held the position of Senior Director, Emerging Business/Lifestyle Sales at Outcome Health from September 2015 to April 2018. Joanna played a key role in business development and achieved significant revenue growth.

Joanna's experience also includes being Ad Director at Crain Communications Inc from May 2014 to August 2015, where they led a team responsible for sales and revenue generation across various platforms.

Joanna served as Head of Sales at Best Lawyers from December 2013 to May 2014, overseeing their revenue portfolio.

Joanna's earlier roles include Vice President/Publisher at Haymarket Media Group from March 2008 to November 2013, where they were responsible for a $4M media property and managed a full media portfolio.

Joanna also worked as the National Advertising Sales Director at DC Comics from February 2007 to February 2008, where they secured significant advertising revenue and managed a team.

Joanna Harp has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. Their major was in Media, Culture, and Communication, with a minor in Dance/Dance Education. In terms of additional certifications, they are certified in Organic, Living Food, Plant-Based Nutrition from the Hippocrates Health Institute, which they obtained in January 2017. Joanna also holds a certification in Plant-Based Nutrition from eCornell, earned in September 2015. Moreover, Joanna is a Pilates Certified Teacher (PCT) from Ellie Herman Pilates, a certification they obtained in August 2006.
