Angela C. Thomas

Angela C. Thomas serves as the State Controller for the State of Wisconsin since March 2022, providing executive leadership and overseeing financial management, including enterprise accounting and treasury operations. In addition, Angela is an appointed member of the Community Development Authority for the City of Sun Prairie since December 2021, focusing on urban redevelopment and economic growth. Angela also holds a position as a Dane County Airport Commissioner since March 2019, contributing to airport governance. Prior experience includes leadership roles at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Wisconsin Department of Justice, and the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, alongside earlier work as a Certified Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens Pharmacy. Angela holds a BA in Accounting from Lakeland University and a BS in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
