Liz Smith has extensive experience in marketing and events management, currently serving in the Marketing and Communications role at Danes Educational Trust since September 2019. Previously, Liz held multiple positions at AKQA from January 2010 to January 2019, including Head of Marketing and Events, Head of Events, Events Director, and Events & Communications Manager. Additional experience includes the role of Head of Events at Newzeye Ltd and Exhibition and Events Manager at Thirty Forty Nine Limited. An earlier position was held as Exhibition Sales and Marketing Manager at Faversham House Group from 2003 to 2006. Liz holds a BA Hons degree in English and Drama from Aberystwyth University, obtained from 1999 to 2002.
