René Skov Hansen

René Skov Hansen, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in the fields of optics and sensor technology, currently serving as Lead Technology Specialist at Danfoss IXA A/S since 2012, where contributions include designing measurement principles and enhancing sensor signal processing and optics. René operates a consultancy, OptiqueConsult, specializing in optics and sensors, and has been an external examiner at the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science since 1998. Previous academic roles include Associate Professor at the University of Southern Denmark and a high school teacher.
