Joe Walker

Joe Walker has over 20 years of experience in the construction and development industry. Joe is currently the Vice President of Development and Construction at Daniel Communities, where they oversee all vertical commercial construction in resort communities. In this role, they provide budgeting, design, and execution support for horizontal construction projects. Prior to this, Joe was the Senior Development Manager at Mattamy Homes for a few months in 2019. Joe also worked at Crescent Communities for over 12 years, starting as a Land Development Manager and eventually becoming the Director of Land Development. In these roles, they assessed bids, collaborated with various departments, and developed and refined criteria for lot and pad grading. Before joining Crescent Communities, Joe worked at Shea Homes as a Land Development Manager and Construction Superintendent. Joe began their career at Pulte Group as an Assistant Construction Superintendent.

Joe Walker received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from North Carolina State University from 1992 to 1996. Joe also obtained additional certifications such as LEED AP, North Carolina General Contractor License, North Carolina Real Estate License, South Carolina General Contractor License, and South Carolina Real Estate License.
