Prior to these roles, Nicholas worked as a BMS Consulting Engineer at AKF Group, where responsibilities included developing control strategies for Building Management Systems and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on various projects. Nicholas gained early experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Suffolk County DPW, focusing on energy efficiency in public workspaces. Nicholas earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University in 2016 and has a strong passion for smart and connected buildings.
