Jim Stepanek

Jim Stepanek has a diverse work experience in the recycling industry. Jim started their career as a Shredder Sales Manager at WENDT CORPORATION in 2002 and later moved to ESCO Corporation, where they worked as a District Sales Manager from 2004 to 2014. At ESCO Corporation, they also served as a National Account Manager/Technical Specialist-Recycling, managing major accounts and providing technical support. In 2015, Stepanek joined Metso as the General Manager Sales for the North American Market, specializing in metal recycling equipment. Jim built a highly experienced sales team and handled the sales of scrap metal shredders, shears, balers, and nonferrous systems. In 2020, Stepanek joined Danieli Group as the DCR Sales Director for North America, leading a team and developing marketing and sales strategies for recycling products and equipment.

Jim Stepanek attended Mount Mercy University from 1987 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Prior to that, they studied Mechanical Engineering at St. Ambrose University from 1986 to 1987.
