Randy Wells

Director at Daniels Fund

Randy Wells is the current Director at Daniels Fund. Randy has over 45 years of experience in the aviation industry, starting their career in the U.S. Army in 1975. Randy worked their way up to Experimental Test Pilot on the CH-47 and UH-60 Programs, conducting engine, structural, and handling qualities development tasks. Randy also served as an Instructor Pilot and Maintenance Pilot on various aircraft before transitioning to the private sector in 2000. Randy worked for Boeing for nine years as an Experimental Test Pilot on the CH-47F and MV/CV-22 Programs, conducting cockpit and crew systems development, terrain following radar and electronic warfare systems integration, and day/night/NVG operations. In 2009, they transitioned to L3 Army Fleet Support as a Director, where they oversaw all maintenance, engineering, supply chain management, and customer support for over 1,200 aircraft. In their current role as Director at Daniels Fund, Randy is responsible for leading the organization's aviation initiatives.

Randy Wells has a Masters in Aviation Systems Testing from the University of Tennessee Space Institute, and a certification from the FAA in Flight and Instrument Instructor - Airplane and Helicopter. Randy also has a certification from the FAA in Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic.
