Rune Ledgaard Sørensen

Rune Ledgaard Sørensen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Rune started their career as a Consultant at NS-Consult, where they provided brush-up courses in various subjects to business school students. Concurrently, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Aarhus School of Business.

In 2003, Rune joined FIH Erhvervsbank A/S, initially as a Business Analyst. Rune analyzed the bank's loan portfolio and assisted in developing the credit-score/rating model. Rune then became an Analyst in Acquisition & Leveraged Finance, evaluating potential loans and participating in larger projects. Eventually, they were promoted to the position of Vice President in the same department, managing a loan portfolio of approximately 3 billion DKK.

In 2013, Rune became the Sekretariatschef (Head of Department) at Finanskrisekommissionen, Fonden Kraka. Rune led a team of economists and students, coordinating and contributing to analysis regarding the future regulation of the financial sector.

From 2014 to 2020, Rune held various roles at Langfristet ErhvervsFinansiering, including CEO, Adm direktør (Co-CEO), and Kredit- og Økonomidirektør. Rune was responsible for lending, credit, and finance, and was a member of the management and credit committee.

In 2014, Rune briefly owned and operated www.kreditklemme.dk.

In 2020, Rune took on the role of CEO and Board Member at Danish Bio Commodities A/S and DBC Invest. Rune was responsible for leading the company and serving on the board.

In the same year, they also became a Bestyrelsesmedlem (Board Member) at Sindal Biogas A/S.

Throughout their career, Rune has demonstrated their expertise in finance, lending, credit risk assessment, and leadership.
