Lena Bjertrup

Lena Bjertrup is a highly experienced professional in the field of food safety and quality management, currently serving as Senior Vice President at Danish Crown since April 2014. Bjertrup has held various leadership roles within the company, including Vice President of Quality, Environment, Health & Safety, and Senior Director of Group Food Safety. Prior to joining Danish Crown, Bjertrup worked at Stryhn's A/S as Kvalitetschef and at Tulip Food Company in multiple quality-focused positions. Bjertrup's expertise includes import/export regulations for meat products and compliance with USDA legislation. Additionally, Bjertrup has experience as a veterinarian and supervising veterinarian, with an educational background in veterinary medicine from Den Kgl. Veterinær- og Landbohøjskole.
