Tommas Bjørnbak Tygesen

Tommas Bjørnbak Tygesen began their career at Bang & Olufsen in 2000 as an SAP FI/CO consultant and progressed to Group Senior Manager for SAP application development. Tommas Bjørnbak later joined Vestas as a Director in Business Performance Management, focusing on financial reporting and strategy. Moving to BESTSELLER, they held various finance and accounting roles, including overseeing global financial concepts and controls. Currently, at Danish Crown, Tommas serves as Senior VP for Horizon & Finance Transformation, having previously been the CFO and overseeing group performance management.

Tommas Bjørnbak Tygesen completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Administration and Modern Languages at Hochschule Flensburg from 1995 to 1998. Tommas Bjørnbak then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Economics and Business Administration, with a focus on Management and Leadership, at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark from 1998 to 2000. Throughout their career, they also undertook various courses and programmes, such as the Vestas Talent Engagement Programme in 2011 and certifications like Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from Vestas in the same year. Additionally, they attended Bang & Olufsen University for international management and project management courses in 2004, 2005, and 2007. Tygesen also engaged in single courses at Aarhus University and IBM Denmark in 2003 to enhance their knowledge in subjects like Innovation Management and Project Management. Recently, in 2019, they obtained the Functional Leaders certification from the Leadership Pipeline Institute.
