Anette Pagh Rosenthal is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in various healthcare roles. Currently serving as a Medical Advisor at International SOS since March 2024 and a Medical Doctor at the Danish Health Authority since December 2020, Anette has also held positions as a Medical Doctor and Consultant at Region Hovedstaden, focusing on clinical social medicine and consulting for municipalities. Previous roles include Head of Global Medical Centre at Novozymes, Chief Medical Officer for the Danish Home Guard, and various medical officer positions related to disease prevention. Anette has a strong background in research and clinical work in occupational medicine, having contributed to findings on work-related stress and treatments. Anette began a career in journalism, serving as a journalist and editor for health magazines before transitioning into medicine after earning a Master's degree in Medicine from the University of Copenhagen and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole.

Health for all – that is our mission in the Danish Health Authority We are the top health authority in Denmark, and our task is to promote public health and establish a good framework for health services in Denmark. We give advice to the Danish Ministry of Health, municipalities and regions and we offer recommendations, guidelines and action plans. Our main tasks include promotion of public health, prevention and treatment of diseases - as well as tasks regarding radiation protection, elderly care and dementia. Our ambitions are high - and we engage with others to find wise solutions.
