Sofia Manili

Sofia Manili is a legal professional currently serving as a Specialkonsulent at the Danish Institute for Human Rights since September 2023. Prior to this role, Sofia worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark from February 2020 to November 2023, holding the position of Analista and serving as a Special Adviser in the International Law and Human Rights Division. Sofia also held the position of Head of Section in both the International Law and Human Rights Division and the International Police Division at the Justitsministeriet/Ministry of Justice between February 2019 and February 2020. Additional experience includes roles as a Student Assistant at the Danish Institute for Human Rights, the Centre for International Law, Conflict and Crisis at the University of Copenhagen, Udlændingestyrelsen, and Koch / Christensen Advokatfirma. Sofia holds a Master of Laws - LLM from Københavns Universitet and the University of Amsterdam, along with a Bachelor of Laws - LLB from Københavns Universitet.
