Emilie Herlev serves as the Corporate Engagement Manager at the Danish Red Cross since October 2017, leading corporate partnerships and crafting communication campaigns to enhance branding and value for partner companies. Prior to this, Emilie held roles as a consultant and project manager, focusing on fundraising strategies, particularly in relation to inheritances, and supported different departments with grant applications and project development. Emilie's early career included an internship at the Danish Embassy in Bolivia, where significant work involved sustainable development initiatives. Academic qualifications include a degree in Anthropology from the University of Copenhagen, with studies concentrated on migration, integration, human rights, and political anthropology, along with experience in both political science and development studies from other institutions.
