Laura Vestergaard-Andersen is an experienced development consultant and project leader currently working at Røde Kors since March 2017, focusing on family-centered initiatives in asylum support, strategy development, communication, funding, financial management, and evaluation. Previous roles include a position as a student assistant in the Department of Gender Equality at the Ministeriet for Børn, Ligestilling, Integration og Social Forhold, where Laura gained experience in national and international gender equality work. As a volunteer consultant and student assistant at WeShelter, expertise was developed in project management for homeless and socially vulnerable individuals. Additional experience includes internships at the Royal Danish Embassy and SF - Socialistisk Folkepartis, and a student assistant position at SFI - Det Nationale Forskningscenter for Velfærd. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen, complemented by a summer academy at Humanity in Action and legal studies at Aarhus University.
