Sylvia Khamati

Sylvia Khamati is an experienced public health professional currently serving as a Senior Regional Health Advisor and Global Health Delegate for the Danish Red Cross since November 2019. In this role, Sylvia provides expert advice and technical support for health programs across Africa and globally, focusing on public health, disease prevention, and emergency health preparedness and response. Previously, Sylvia held the position of Head of Health, Nutrition, Gender, and Social Inclusion at the Kenya Red Cross from March 2008 to September 2019, where strategic support was offered in areas such as public health, nutrition, and emergency health.
