Mads Diness Jensen

Director, Finance, Technology & Media Production at Danmarks Radio

Mads Diness Jensen has worked in the fields of finance, technology, and media production for over 17 years. Mads is currently the Director of Finance, Technology & Media Production at Danmarks Radio.

Jensen began their career as a student at DONG Energy in 2002. Mads then worked as an external lecturer at the University of Copenhagen from 2002 to 2007. In 2003, they became the office manager at the Ministry of Finance of Denmark, where they worked for nine years. During their time at the Ministry of Finance, Jensen also served as the department head for economic policy and tax administration from 2012 to 2014.

In 2015, Jensen began working as a consultant senior at the International Monetary Fund. Mads then moved to McKinsey & Company in 2016, where they served as a knowledge manager. In 2017, they returned to the Ministry of Finance of Denmark as the department head for corporate planning. Mads has been in their current role at Danmarks Radio since 2020.

Mads Diness Jensen holds a Master's degree in Public Policy Management from Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy, a Cand.Polit. in Economics from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, a Master of Science in Economics from University of Warwick, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Aarhus University.

Mads Diness Jensen reports to Maria Rørbye Rønn, Director, General & CEO. They are on a team with Sandy French - Executive Director, News, Karsten Dyhrberg Nielsen - Executive Director, DR User, Market & Publishing, and Henrik Bo Nielsen - Executive Director, DR Culture, Children & Youth.
