Dan Merriam is an international real estate investor and entrepreneur who focuses on helping others navigate the Caribbean real estate market, reduce taxes, and grow their businesses globally. With over a decade of experience and a successful real estate portfolio, Dan offers strategic guidance to investors and entrepreneurs seeking financial freedom through international investments.

Dan began his real estate journey in 2011, acquiring his first property in the Toronto area, well before the market's boom in 2015. Over the next decade, he built and managed a $15 million portfolio in Hamilton, Ontario, focusing on residential and multi-family properties. Despite strong returns of over 30% IRR, Dan faced growing tax burdens, restrictive tenant laws, and complex regulations that made further growth in Canada challenging.

By 2020, after travelling to over 50+ countries and conducting extensive research, Dan made the decision to leave Canada. He explored investment opportunities across Europe, Asia, and Central America before ultimately relocating to Antigua and Barbuda in the Eastern Caribbean. As of 2021, he is a resident and citizen of Antigua, where he enjoys a tax-efficient lifestyle and continues to grow his real estate portfolio internationally.

Today, Dan helps clients scale their real estate portfolios, optimize tax strategies, and invest internationally. He works as a strategic partner, offering personalized advice to help entrepreneurs and investors diversify assets, enhance tax efficiency, and build a global lifestyle. Passionate about the changing dynamics of how people live and work, Dan believes the Caribbean offers unique opportunities for growth. He is committed to building future communities using real estate and technology, and he regularly conducts business across neighbouring Caribbean islands.
