Caroline Winther has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Caroline began their career in 1991 as a Student Assistant at Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, where they worked until 1996. In 2000, they joined the Danish Film Institute as an Archives Technician for a brief period. In 2002, Caroline started working at Danmission as a Project Coordinator, a role they held until 2006 when they transitioned to an Administrator position. Caroline then progressed to become a Finance Manager in 2010 and subsequently the Head of Administration in 2012. Currently, they serve as the Director of Finance and Human Resources at Danmission, a role they have held since October 2017.
Caroline Winther's education history begins in 1989 when they enrolled at the University of Copenhagen, specifically the Københavns Universitet. Caroline pursued a degree in Classical Archaeology and successfully completed it in 1997, earning the qualification of Cand.phil.

Danmission
Danmission is an independent organization rooted in the Danish National Church (Folkekirken). Danmission's focus is on poverty reduction, religious dialogue and church development in 12 countries of Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, as well as in Denmark. Danmission is the largest and oldest mission organization in Denmark - our history goes back to 1821. Today we have 55 employees and more than 3,000 committed volunteers across the country. Our work is partially supported by the Danish State and the European Union, but mainly by private funds and profits from Danmission’s charity shops.
