Sauvaitre Thomas is a Scientist in Preclinical Models at Danone Nutricia Research since October 2022. Previously, Sauvaitre completed a joint PhD at UMR 0454 - MEDIS in Clermont-Ferrand, France, and the Center for Microbial Ecology and Technology at Gent University, focusing on the role of intestinal mucus and dietary fiber in the physiopathology of enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) using in vitro models, a project undertaken from October 2018 to October 2022. Sauvaitre pursued education at Université Blaise Pascal (Clermont-II) from 2016 to 2018.
