Aaron O'Sullivan

Aaron O'Sullivan, Ph.D., serves as the Chair of the Food Regulatory Special Interest Group at the Institute of Food Science and Technology since October 2025. As a part-time lecturer in Food Regulatory Affairs at Ulster University since October 2011, Aaron has significantly contributed to the field of food safety and regulatory affairs throughout a diverse career. Previous roles include Director of Chemical Safety at Danone Nutricia Research and Director of Scientific & Regulatory Affairs at Danone, where Aaron led international teams in ensuring food safety and compliance globally. Previous experience also includes a leadership role at PepsiCo in Global Scientific & Regulatory Affairs, as well as a chairmanship at SNE - Specialised Nutrition Europe focused on food additives. Aaron's expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, including clinical nutrition, food safety, regulatory development, and innovation in food products.
