Cathy Chen

Cathy Chen is an accomplished communication professional with extensive experience in internal and external communication, marketing, and sustainability within major corporations. At CNBC, Cathy served as a Marketing Specialist, developing and implementing marketing and public relations programs in China. Cathy's tenure at Danone includes roles as Head of Internal Communication and Sustainability, and currently, as Head of Internal & Digital Communication & Sustainability, where responsibilities encompass executive communications, strategy development, and event management for a workforce of 10,000 employees. Prior experience at General Electric involved managing media relations and stakeholder engagement, developing employer branding strategies, and leading significant events, including those linked to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Cathy holds two Master's degrees in Journalism and Communications from Fudan University, complemented by an exchange program at Macquarie University.
