Christophe Lay

Senior Team Leader Gut Microbiology and #OneBiome

Christophe Lay is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in microbiology and immunology. From January 2005 to December 2006, Christophe Lay held a post-doctoral fellowship in the research group of Prof. Gerald Tannock at the University of Otago, funded by the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. This was followed by a post-doctoral position at the Genome Institute of Singapore from July 2009 to July 2011 in Prof. Martin Hibberd's Infectious Diseases group. Between August 2011 and September 2023, Christophe Lay served as a Senior Scientist focused on Gut Microbiota and Microbiome at Danone, simultaneously holding the role of Honorary Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Paediatrics, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore from July 2014. Additionally, Christophe Lay was an Honorary Adjunct Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore from July 2018 to June 2021. Education culminated with studies at Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) from 2001 to 2004.
