E. Whitney Evans, PhD, RD, serves as the Director of Nutrition Science, Research & Innovation at Danone North America. With a strong foundation in nutrition science, E. Whitney's past experience includes clinical nutrition work at Children's Hospital Boston and a postdoctoral fellowship at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. E. Whitney has published over 45 academic articles and has led intervention trials addressing diet's impact on obesity, particularly among children in underserved communities. They hold a BA from Duke University, an MS in Nutrition from Boston University, and a PhD in Nutritional Epidemiology from Tufts University.
