Juergen Esser

Juergen Esser joined Danone in year 2000 within Danone Dairy Germany as Finance Manager. Since then, he has served in a range of key positions in Finance and Strategy including as Corporate International Treasury Director, Business Development Director for the Dairy Division in emerging markets, Regional Finance Director within the Waters WBU before being appointed in year 2015 as VP Finance of the global Evian Volvic World

organization.

In July 2017, Juergen Esser was appointed as SVP Finance of the worldwide Water Division and added in September 2017 the strategic business unit Africa (comprising all divisions of Danone Group) to his scope. Juergen Esser joined the Board of Danone Waters and the Finance Board of Danone Group In November 2020, Juergen Esser was appointed Chief Financial, Technology and Data Officer, fully effective as of February 19th 2021.
