Laurent Clement is the R&D VP for the Asia, Middle East, and Africa regions at Danone, leading a team of 140 professionals across 14 countries. With 30 years of experience in research and innovation, quality, and food safety, Laurent previously held various leadership positions within Danone, including R&D Director for Global Brands and Nutrition in the Dairy Division. Laurent began their career at CREALIS as a group leader and completed an internship at Rhone Poulenc. They hold a DEA in Process Engineering and a Master’s degree in Food Science & Technology from distinguished French institutions.
