Mark Springett

Flavour Science Manager

Mark Springett is an experienced professional in the field of food science, currently serving as the Enzyme Strategy & Science Manager at Danone Nutricia Research since November 2014. Previously held the position of Flavour Science Manager at Danone Research and worked as an Application Manager for Neotronics Ltd, focusing on electronic nose systems. Earlier in his career, Mark served as a Senior Scientific Officer at the Food Research Institute, conducting research on flavour food interactions, and as the Senior Research Officer at Campden & Chorleywood Food Research Association, where Mark led the Flavour and Taint Group. Mark earned a PhD in Food Science from the University of Reading between 1981 and 1987 and has a strong educational background in science with A levels from the University of Worcester and Aberystwyth University.
