Matt Bales

Matt Bales is an experienced professional in the food science and manufacturing industry, currently serving as Pilot Plant Manager at Danone North America since May 2014. Bales has played a significant role in R&D at the Wallaby yogurt manufacturing plant, contributing to product launches and process improvements. Prior to advancing through roles such as Food Scientist I, Food Technologist, and Pilot Plant Technician III at Danone, Bales worked as a Process Engineering Technician at Saputo Dairy Foods USA and as a Quality Assurance Technician at Nestle Waters. Bales holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Cincinnati, further underscoring a solid foundation in the biological sciences relevant to food production and quality assurance.
