Udo Herz

Udo Herz has extensive experience in the fields of nutrition and immunology, currently serving as the Global Director Category Advocacy - Early Life at Danone since May 2014, where additional roles have included Global Director Industry Medical & Science - Specialized Nutrition and Global Science Director, HealthCare Nutrition. Prior to Danone, Udo Herz held various positions at Mead Johnson Nutrition from June 2003 to April 2014, ultimately becoming the Director of Research & Development for Europe. The career began with significant academic contributions as a Professor for Immunology and Laboratory Medicine at University Hospital Marburg, where Udo Herz was also the Head of Research and Development, following a tenure as a Senior Research Scientist at Charité, Humboldt University of Berlin. Udo Herz earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology and Immunology from Eberhard-Karls-University Tübingen.
