Usama Osman

Usama Osman is an experienced logistics and supply chain professional with over 15 years in the industry, currently serving as the Director of Logistics and Head of Supply Chain at Danone since February 2008. Usama leads a team of 30 managers across four departments, overseeing significant departmental reorganizations to align with S&OP needs. Key achievements include improving customer service levels from 90% to over 99%, reducing factory inventory levels by €12 million, and generating productivity initiatives yielding approximately 8% year-on-year. Usama previously held roles such as Head of Demand & Supply Planning, where improvements in forecast accuracy were achieved and strategic contributions to a €230 million turnover were made.
