Mette Skjold has extensive experience in architecture and leadership, currently serving as CEO and partner at SLA A/S since January 2013 and as a board member of the Danish Architecture Center since March 2021. Previously, Mette held positions as business manager at SLA, teacher at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, and founder of Markstudio, where significant projects included the design of two houses and a vision for Torshavn. Mette's earlier roles included associate and project manager at Henning Larsen Architects, contributing to interdisciplinary research and urban strategies, and architectural work at Arkitema. Mette holds a master's degree in Leadership and Innovation from Copenhagen Business School and an architecture degree from Arkitektskolen Aarhus.
