Janni Siv Hansen began their work experience in 2012 as a freelance creative concept developer at Ekstra Bladet. Janni Siv then worked as a sales assistant at Stilleben from 2009 to 2015. In 2012, they also had creative internships at Wibroe, Duckert og Partners and &Co. From 2013 to 2013, they worked as a creative intern at &Co. In 2014, Janni joined Ogilvy Danmark as an Art Director and stayed there until 2020. During their time at Ogilvy Danmark, Janni also started working as a freelancer at jannisiv.dk in 2012. In 2021, they took a break to go on maternity leave. In 2023, they worked as a graphic designer at Lederne - Danmarks største lederorganisation for a few months and then moved to DI - Dansk Industri as a graphic designer.

Janni Siv Hansen's education history begins in 2006 when they attended Copenhagen Technical School, where they studied photography with a focus on analog and digital techniques. Janni Siv completed this program in 2007. In 2009, Janni enrolled at KEA Lyngby and studied multimedia design for two semesters, completing their first year. That same year, they also attended The Danish School of Media and Journalism (DMJX) to pursue a creative foundation program. Janni returned to DMJX in 2010 and completed their bachelor's degree in Creative Communication in 2013.
