Marie Gad Hansen

Marie Gad Hansen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in development policy, sustainability, and private sector engagement. Currently serving as a Board Member for organizations such as World's Best News, Etisk Handel Danmark, and the Global Compact Network Denmark, Marie also contributes to the Danish Council for Development Policy, advising on development cooperation. In a long-term role at the Confederation of Danish Industry, Marie holds multiple titles including Director of Global Development and Sustainability and has served as a liaison to the World Bank Group. Marie's leadership extends to various committees, including the BIAC Development Committee and the Rådet for Samfundsansvar og Verdensmål. Educational credentials include an M.Sc. in International Business Studies and an Executive Summer School in International Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
