Martin Petersen Lennards has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Martin Petersen currently works at EY as Partner in DK Gov. & Public sector, Nordic ESG Tech. In 2022, they joined IT-Universitetet i København as a member of the Aftagerpanelet for Global Business Informatics (GBI) og Digital Innovation & Management (DIM). Martin Petersen is also involved in the Danish Digital Award as a part of the Public Sector & Government Jury. Martin has been a member of DI - Dansk Industri's IT-political committee since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at IBM as Danish Public Sector Industry Leader and Offentlig sektor services leader from 2018 to 2021. Martin Petersen held senior management roles at Deloitte Consulting and PA Consulting Group, and served as a Manager in CFO Services at Deloitte. Martin has academic experience as a lecturer in Management Accounting at Copenhagen Business School from 2003 to 2005.

Martin Petersen Lennards has a diverse education history. Martin Petersen attended Københavns Professionshøjskole, where they obtained a certification in Projektledelse in 2004. Martin Petersen then attended Deloitte and received a certification in Project Management in 2007, followed by a PRINCE2® Foundation certification in 2008. In 2009, Martin obtained their PRINCE2® Practitioner certification from PA Consulting. In 2010, they furthered their education by completing the MSP® Managing Successful Programmes certification, also from PA Consulting.

Martin's formal education began at Ecole Européenne, Uccle, where they studied from 1981 to 1986. Afterward, they attended Risskov Skole from 1986 to 1990. Martin Petersen then attended Risskov Amts Gymnasium from 1990 to 1993, focusing on the science side. Martin went on to pursue higher education at Aarhus University from 1994 to 2000, earning a Cand.Scient.Oecon degree in Production Planning and Management Accounting. During this time, they also attended IAE FRANCE - Écoles Universitaires de Management in 1998 for a course in International Marketing and Université de Poitiers in the same year to study Forecasts and Expectations.

In 2011, Martin attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a Corporate Finance & Strategy summer school program. Finally, in 2021 and 2022, they enrolled in IMD for Executive Leadership, although no degree was specified.

In addition to their formal education, Martin has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they became an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner through IBM. Martin Petersen also completed the AI Design certification from IBM in 2019. In 2020, they obtained Agile@IBM and SAFe 5.0 Distilled: Achieving Business Agility with the Scaled Agile Framework certifications, both from IBM. Prior to this, Martin gained experience in various fields within IBM and other institutions, highlighting their commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
