Sanna Herrala

Sanna Herrala is a legal professional with extensive experience in the banking and legal sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Legal Advice for Personal Customers at Danske Bank since March 2024, Sanna is on family leave until Q1/2025. Prior to this role, Sanna was a Consultant at Danske Bank, focusing on developing a new business model for legal services. From August 2021 to March 2024, Sanna was the Head of Legal Operations & HR at Lexly in Finland, leading teams through significant structural and IT transformations. Sanna has held various leadership positions within Danske Bank, including Director of Private Banking and Chief Senior Lawyer for Retail and Private Banking. With a legal background starting as a lawyer in civil law, Sanna has also served with Attorneys-at-Law Nystén & Co Ltd and OP Financial Group, encompassing roles in legal advisory and management. Sanna holds a Master of Laws from the University of Helsinki and a Master’s Degree in Developmental Psychology from Åbo Akademi University, complemented by ongoing studies at Laurea University of Applied Sciences.
