Anders Bjerre Therkildsen

Anders Bjerre Therkildsen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Anders began their career as an advertising deliverer at Distribution Syd in 2003 and later worked as a dishwasher and waiter at Peking House from 2005 to 2006. From 2006 to 2009, they served as a store assistant at føtex, Dansk Supermarked, where they gained experience in various departments and took on responsibilities for young employees at the age of 18.

In 2009, Anders joined the Royal Danish Life Guards for their military service, where they learned military skills and drills at Høvelte and then guarded the Queen and the rest of the Royal Family in Copenhagen. This experience honed their decision-making skills in stressful situations.

From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a stock employee at Kelsen Group A/S before transitioning to a telemarketing consultant role at Topdanmark from 2011 to 2013. At Topdanmark, they successfully sold to private households and businesses, earning commendation for their positive attitude and communication skills.

Anders then joined Jyske Bank in 2013, starting as a student assistant in various roles. Anders worked in accounting, the Vestergade department, and corporate & institutional banking. During their time at Jyske Bank, they gained competences in quantitative and analytical models, Excel, VBA, CRM, financial markets, and large companies. Anders also improved their analytical and communicative skills, being responsible for excel and quantitative models, due diligence, analyses, presentations, and communication with the largest customers in the bank.

In 2017, Anders joined Danske Commodities as a power trader, where they traded power assets until August 2020. Anders then transitioned into the role of Manager, Head of Intraday Asset Trading, in August 2020.

Anders Bjerre Therkildsen completed their Higher Commercial Examination (HHX) in Marketing and Corporate Finance from Ribe Handelsskole from 2006 to 2009. Anders then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Financial Management and Services with a focus on Finance and Economics at Business Academy Aarhus from 2011 to 2015. Afterward, they attended Aarhus University from 2015 to 2017 and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree with a specialization in Finance and International Business.
