Mads Schmidt Christensen

Mads Schmidt Christensen has a diverse work experience that includes roles in various companies. Mads started their career in 2012 as a Graduate in Strategic Business Development at Danske Commodities. Over the years, they progressed to become an Analyst in the Project Management Office and later served as the Manager in the CEO Office. In 2015, they took on the role of Director and Head of Corporate Development at Danske Commodities. From 2016 to 2022, they held the position of Director and Head of Strategy & Communications, where they were responsible for formulating the corporate strategy and played a key role in the sale of Danske Commodities to Equinor. Additionally, Mads served as a Board Member at Business Club Aarhus starting in 2020 and at Royal RepubliQ from 2016 until 2021.

Mads Schmidt Christensen began their education in 2006 at Concordia College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with double majors in Philosophy and Business Management. Mads completed this degree in 2010. In 2010, Mads continued their education at Copenhagen Business School, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration & Philosophy, completing their studies in 2012. In 2011, they briefly attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Finally, in 2020, Mads engaged in an Executive Board Education program at Birn+Partners.
