Niels Bækmark Bruun

Niels Bal is a PhD Candidate focused on Disease Syndemics at VU Amsterdam since August 2020, exploring the interaction of co-occurring diseases that amplify health burdens. Niels previously served as a Junior Lecturer in Epidemiology & Applied Biostatistics at Hogeschool van Amsterdam and as a Lecturer in Minor Health Sciences at MCNV, alongside experience as a Research Intern at VU Amsterdam and a Student Teaching Assistant at VIDA/EHS Beheer. Niels's academic background includes a Master of Science in Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Oefentherapie-Mensendieck, both from institutions in Amsterdam.
