Torben Pedersen has extensive work experience in IT and software development. Torben started their career at Berlingske Lokalaviser as a Software Developer, where they worked on a system for newspaper distribution. Torben then joined DSC Communications as a Project Lead and Software Developer, where they worked on telecommunication backbone projects. After that, they joined Nokia Networks as a Group Manager and Software Developer, focusing on mobile backend systems. Torben then worked at LinkWatch/LinkSec as a Technical Lead, Software Architect, and Developer, where they designed and developed solutions using Java and various technologies. Torben later joined RUC as a Software Consultant, where they worked on educational systems using Ruby on Rails and Java. Currently, Torben Pedersen is working at Danske Spil as the Head of IT Backend Integration, leading a team of 20 people and overseeing IT transformation and agile team building. Torben also served as a Board Member at Danske Spil from 2021 to 2022.
Torben Pedersen completed their education in a chronological order. From 1983 to 1986, they attended Stenløse Gymnasium, where they obtained a Mathematical degree with a focus on Mathematics. Following this, from 1986 to 1992, they pursued their Msc degree in Numerical Analysis at DTU - Technical University of Denmark. In October 2019, Torben Pedersen obtained the certification for Certified SAFe 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc.
