James Barnett

James Barnett is an experienced professional in lumber procurement and inspection, currently serving as Fiber Procurement Manager at Dansons since December 2020. Prior to this role, James held positions as Lumber Buyer at AHF Products and Armstrong World Industries, where significant purchasing of Appalachian hardwood lumber was managed for flooring production. James also worked as Chief Lumber Inspector at Allegheny Wood Products, overseeing a team of inspectors and ensuring quality control for substantial lumber production. Additionally, James contributed to the education of future industry professionals as an NHLA Instructor at the West Virginia Wood Technology Center. A graduate of the NHLA Inspector Training School, James holds a NHLA Certificate in Hardwood Lumber Inspection.
