DANTE is an innovative project that focuses on supporting the digital transformation of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), public sector organizations, and professionals operating in the areas of healthy and active aging, Ambient Assisted Living (AAL), and intelligent environments. The objective is to enable these actors to respond to current digital challenges effectively. To further promote the digital transformation of the European economy, the Digital Transformation Accelerator (DTA) will efficiently and effectively support the Network of Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs).

The project will have significant social impacts at different levels: on individuals, particularly those facing difficulties such as the elderly and people with disabilities, by increasing their level of independence in daily life in terms of safety, avoiding loneliness, and providing support in case of physical or mental illnesses; on caregivers (both professional and non-professional), by providing them with information, skills, and digital tools to continuously monitor patients' conditions and streamline the management of care processes; on social and healthcare services, by reducing costs and ensuring quality support for the elderly to enhance their ability to remain active in society; on policies and public administration, in terms of promoting connections between social and healthcare policies (at regional, national, and international levels) and citizens, professionals, and businesses operating in the field of healthy and active aging and "intelligent" life supported by cutting-edge technologies.

DANTE EDIH constitutes part of the European Digital Innovation Hub Network, partnerships financed by the European Commission within the Digital Europe Programme framework, with the aim of advancing the digitalization of SMEs and Public Administrations.
