Anna Hammonds

Anna Hammonds has a diverse work experience spanning over various roles and companies. Anna is currently working at Danube International School as the Head of Grade 10-12 since August 2023. Prior to that, they took a sabbatical from July 2022 to August 2023. Anna previously worked at UWC South East Asia as the Head of Department from August 2015 to July 2022. Before that, they were an English Second Language Teacher at ACS International from August 2013 to July 2015. Anna also worked as a German Teacher at Buckingham College Senior School from September 2007 to July 2012, and as a Freelance Correspondent at mediage.sk from September 2006 to August 2010. Additionally, they were a German Teacher at Barking & Dagenham College from September 2006 to February 2008. Anna has also worked as a Freelance Proofreader & Translator from August 2003 to September 2007, and as a Supply Teacher from September 2004 to March 2007.

Anna Hammonds has a diverse education history. Anna obtained their MSc. degree in German Language and Literature from Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave, where they studied from 1998 to 2004. During this time, they also received the Erasmus Scholarship and studied Linguistics, specifically German and Russian, at the University of Vienna from 2001 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Anna Hammonds has also obtained several certifications. In August 2021, they completed the "Cybersecurity for Managers: A Playbook" course at MIT Sloan School of Management. In June 2021, they completed the "Leading a Diverse Workforce" course at MIT Sloan Executive Education. Earlier in March 2021, they also completed the "Business Process Design for Strategic Management" course at MIT Sloan School of Management. Prior to these certifications, in October 2020, they completed the "MIT Sloan Inquiry-Driven Leadership" course at MIT Sloan Executive Education.

Anna Hammonds also holds the QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) certification from the GTC for England, which they obtained in August 2004.
