Lawrence McWilliams

Lawrence McWilliams is an experienced art educator and freelance illustrator with a diverse background in animation and visual development. Currently serving as an Art Teacher at RISE Academy within Danville Public Schools since July 2023, Lawrence has previously worked as a Digital Arts Instructor for Exceptional Children's Foundation and contributed as a freelance illustrator and animator for major clients such as BET, Microsoft, and NBC/Universal. With a strong academic foundation, including a Master of Arts in Visual Development for Animation from the Academy of Art University, Lawrence has honed skills in creating illustrations, storyboarding, and character design across various media and projects, showcasing a commitment to high-quality artistic output and education.
