Kevin McDermott

Kevin McDermott is an experienced intellectual property counsel with a focus on patent and trademark applications. Currently serving as the Intellectual Property Counsel at Daon since December 2008, Kevin has also been a member of The Law Office of Kevin McDermott, PLLC since April 2018, specializing in international intellectual property protection. Previous roles include associate attorney positions at Wenderoth, Lind & Ponack, L.L.P., and Armstrong Teasdale LLP, where Kevin prosecuted patent applications for a variety of technologies, and served as a patent examiner at the USPTO. Kevin's academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law, a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University.
