Daphne Valcin

Daphne Valcin, MCC, ELI-MP has over 20 years of experience in coaching, training, consulting, and leadership development. Daphne is the founder and owner of Daphne Valcin Coaching, where they support companies in increasing retention and advancement of their diverse workforce through coaching and training solutions. Daphne has worked with various industries, including telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, higher education, nonprofits, and healthcare. Daphne has also partnered with consulting firms such as Molto Crescendo, Willow North Growth Partners, and HR Knowledge Source. Additionally, Daphne is an executive coach, certified facilitator, and authorized partner for several programs, including The Five Behaviors®, Everything DiSC®, and EQ-i 2.0 and EQ360 Training and Assessments. Prior to starting their own coaching business, they served as the Executive Director of Project Inspire, where they implemented performing arts and empowerment programming for at-risk youth. Daphne has also held positions as a director and lead facilitator for College Summit and as a site coordinator for Communities in Schools of Northern Virginia. Daphne has a strong background in community organizing, public affairs, and motivational speaking.

Daphne Valcin has a diverse education history. In 2002, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Florida, with additional focused areas of study in Journalism, Business, Education, and English. Daphne also completed non-credit courses in Early Childhood Education and Teaching at Miami Dade College in the same year. In 2009, they received a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Secondary Education-English and Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania. Daphne further pursued their education in 2013-2014, acquiring certifications in Life Coaching and Energy Leadership from The Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. Additionally, they completed the College Summit Facilitator Training Program in 2007-2010 to obtain a Group Facilitation Certification. Throughout their career, Daphne Valcin has also obtained various certifications in areas such as coaching, leadership, diversity, and inclusion from reputable institutions like the International Coaching Federation, Wiley Workplace Learning, edX, KickStart Your Edge, and LinkedIn.
