Lori Maria Galvez is a seasoned professional in structural engineering and Building Information Modeling (BIM) with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Structural BIM Coordinator and Modeler at Design & Architecture Bureau (DAR) since September 2022, Lori has previously held the position of Principal Structural Technician at Ramboll for nearly a decade. Other notable roles include Structural CAD Detailer at Meinhardt MENA, freelance Structural Detailer at Kling Consult GmbH & Co. International KG, and various positions within RW Armstrong, Halcrow Yolles, WSP in Asia, Private Practice, Global Design, Inc, and R.S. Caparros and Associates. Lori holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of the East.

Design and Architecture bureau (DAR) was established in 1985. The firm was then re-structured in 1996 jointly by Engineer Hussain Lootah and Architect Ibrahim Salem.
